McCain's lack of courage

Over and over we have heard about his war record and time as a POW. But when push comes to shove I guess he is just another coward. No other way to say it after reading reports that he wants to postpone the debate this Friday. Like the Senate cannot survive without him being there. If he was presidential material he would want to be at the debate letting the American public know what he would do about the economic crisis in this country. How can you run for the highest office in the land and once a problem hits you have to run and hide? You claim to love your country and yet cannot stand up and tell us how you would save it? He has now lost the last shred of respect I had for the man...

Some fun facts about John McCain: Of all Senators, John McCain has been the most absent. There have been 643 votes taken in the current Senate session: McCain has missed 412 of them.

McCain has not voted in the Senate since April 8th. Since March, he has missed 109 of the last 110 votes

And yet on this issue he has to go back to the Senate and miss the debate. Can I use the word coward again...

McCain over the edge?

Well, this makes things a little easier for me. I had still thought that John McCain had some good ideas and if he won the election I would not be that upset. No more. I have now lost complete respect for him and could never in good conscious vote for him. It is amazing how a politician can lose every ideal he has stood for when he panders for votes...

McCain and torture

The man was tortured himself for years and has repeatedly spoken out against the U.S torturing suspects now has a change of heart? I can't believe McCain voted no on this bill to ban waterboarding and other forms of harsh interrogation by the CIA. Another case of a politician abandoning his principles to try and get elected. So sad...
