Shredding a little more of our democracy...
Amazing what our government spends money on. Leave to Bush to lead the previous administrations in another category. How can the government go from spending $452,807 on shredding documents in 2000 to spending $2.9 million in 2006? We are looking at over a 600% increase since Bush took office. What can he possibly be trying to hide? Documents on the lack of WMD in Iraq? CIA waterboard torture? Gonzalez's list of U.S. Attorneys to fire? Plamegate? No bid contracts for Halliburton? FEMA's handling of Katrina? Warrantless wiretapping by the NSA? Cheney's Energy Policy? Etc. etc. etc. etc...
