McDonald's U.K. gets more expensive...
Let's hope this never comes over to this side of the pond. Forty-five minutes should be enough to eat fast food for most people. Still, the amount of the fine is rather high if you happen to go over the limit. At today's currency conversion rate it comes out to a $254.92 fine. Wow! And it goes up the longer you take to pay it. Does the U.K. have that big a problem with people parking for too long? And yes I know we have commercial places here that limit the time you can park. I don't believe the fines for doing so are quite as high though. It is already a good idea to avoid McDonald's. Hopefully tactics like these will convince more people to stop eating there...
