Handhelds Rule the Day...
This is just amazing. Think about that. 1 in 7 people in Japan own a DS. Throw in the number of PSPs sold (GBAs, micro GBAs, etc.) and it is obvious Japan is crazy about handhelds. No wonder Microsoft has not been able to make any inroads in Japan. It just boggles the mind. I would venture that the number of people in this country that own any game system has to be less than 1 in 7. So are we behind the times or are the Japanese just wacky...

If you look at the sales charts in Japan DS games take up at half of the titles each month. It is amazing. I have one and it is fun, but not my obsession. I did pick up the new Legend of Zelda game over the weekend and played around with it a little. It seems to be the first one to really use the stylus well and I love that I can write notes on the map. Very cool...
i dropped all my handhelds. i just have the old gameboy, the square one, and i only play stuff like tetris or pac-man.
i used to have the psp, but it just didn't do anything for me. the couple of games i had, and some movies just didn't keep my interest...however i'm looking at the new star wars game they have for that, and it jumped into my head to get one, but that's as far as it went...
