5th Track is the Charm...

As per my usual drive into work this morning I was listening to a cd. Local radio sucks but that is a whole other issue. I was listening to A Fine Frenzy's One Cell in the Sea. Track 5 is Rangers and is my current fav on this cd. Which made me think of how many times this is true. I don't know why it is, but at least for me whatever song is track 5 is usually the one I like the most. This has been true for as long as I can remember. On an album track 5 is usually the last song on side one which is how I first noticed this phenomenon. Did artists purposely do this? Ok, I know it is just a coincidence and if I asked 10 people what their favorite song on a cd was I bet I would get 10 different tracks. Now I am wondering if other people have noticed they usually have a favorite track number on most cds. Does anyone?
