Highs and Lows of a Sports Fan...

To be a Cleveland sports fan is a special thing. We have had to put up with a lot of losing seasons over the years. Still, I stand by my teams. Today was one of those days that lift you up and then smack you back down. First my beloved Indians clinched the American League Central Division title this afternoon! This is our first divisional title since 2001. From the home opener being snowed out to having a home series moved to Milwaukee this title is very sweet. Then came the smack. My Browns were playing the Oakland Raiders. Which is ironic in itself since the Indians clinched today playing the Oakland A's. This was a very winnable game for us. Down by 2 with a last second field goal try---it is up and it is good. But wait, the Raiders had called time out so no play. The Browns line up for another attempt and---disaster. The kick is blocked and game over. Unbelievable. It is tough to be a Cleveland sports fan...
